CEDX started out in 1997 by offering OpenVMS system management and integration services.  The granddaddy of all clustering technology, OpenVMS is now affordable for most businesses, and can provide a cost-effective, stable server platform for low-end implementations, and the highest of high end, secure applications.  This is the OS model that the Windows Server family was built on.  If you're uncomfortable with Linux or open source, you can get off the Windows upgrade treadmill by migrating to OpenVMS.  Even though Digital, Compaq, and HP have bungled its marketing over the years, it still retains a hard-core following. There are so many critical systems built around it that the nation's financial and military systems would grind to a halt if it were to disappear.
